In other news... HEADLINES AND SIDELINES for 2018-2019 continues to include beat correspondents (people that are assigned to cover certain areas of the world/issues. Those students not assigned to a 'beat' will continue to provide ONE "headline" news item written in their own words answering the journalistic "5 Ws" and ONE "human interest or otherwise amusing" news item, also in your own words. A short paragraph for each will suffice.

Holodomor "Geonocide by Famine"
On April 11 and 12th, Our Mini 8 and 9's joined the rest of Point Grey students in interactive lessons about The Holodomor, a state-sponsored famine orchestrated by the Stalin regime in the Ukraine in the 1930's.
A Tale of Two Cities: Bachelor Campaign
In February, students examined the three bachelors vying for Lucie Manette's hand in A Tale of Two Cities, and then designed campaigns around each of the bachelors, determining the personal brand of each and 'pitching' their bachelor to Lucie.
